Are green or red fiber-optic rifle sights better?

Neither color is best for every shooter or setting. Green and red LitePipes provide different visual contrast depending on the background, lighting and individual eyesight. Choose the color that is easiest for you to distinguish against your typical shooting environment. Several HiViz models include interchangeable LitePipes so you can change colors.

How do I choose the correct HiViz front sight height?

For a universal dovetail front sight, match both the mounting dimensions and the sight height. HiViz DOVM-series sights fit a standard 3/8-inch front dovetail and come in five heights: DOVM-260, DOVM-315, DOVM-380, DOVM-420 and DOVM-500. Height is measured from the bottom of the dovetail to the top of the sight. Choose a height compatible with your existing rear sight and firearm configuration rather than selecting by dovetail size alone.

Will a universal HiViz sight fit any rifle?

No. Universal describes the mounting application, not guaranteed compatibility with every rifle.
