This rebuild kit should fit any N47 or MX991/U flashlight manufactured in the USA.  

Does this kit convert my flashlight to LED?

Yes, the included LED bulb is a drop-in conversion that will convert your flashlight to LED.  A spare incandescent PR6 bulb is also included as part of the MIL-REPL kit.  

Can I still use D-cell batteries after installing the kit?

Yes, if you prefer the additional capacity of D-cell batteries, you can use those instead of the included D-to-AA battery adapters.  

Are the replacement gaskets waterproof?

Yes, the gaskets included with this kit are waterproof rubber.  When properly installed, the gaskets will keep water out of your flashlight internals, but they are not IPX rated for prolonged submersion in water.  

Do I need any special tools for installation?

No tools are required.  All parts can be installed by hand.
