Is the LN-QE-B50 easy to use?

The Luna Optics LN-QE-B50 is very easy to use after just a few minutes of familiarization with the interface.  

• There are two diopter adjustment rings on the eyepieces of the binocular. These are used to adjust the binoculars to your eyesight, and rotating them will focus either eye on the screens inside the unit.  
• The right objective ring on the binocular adjusts focus on the object being viewed.  This is the focus adjustment that will be used most often, since adjustment needs to be made depending on the distance of the object.  
• There are three buttons on top of the binocular for power, photo/video recording, and IR illuminator setting.  
• There is a multi-function knob where the focus knob would normally be located on a conventional binocular.  This knob controls navigation and selection in the on-screen menus.  

Does the Luna Optics LN-QE-B50 include a rangefinder?

Yes, the LN-QE-B50 includes an integrated 1500 yard laser rangefinder.  This capability can be utilized while pressing a button on the top of the unit while looking through the binoculars. The laser rangefinder has two modes.  In the first mode, the range will be measured and displayed when the button is pushed.  In the second mode, the range will be constantly measured and displayed every second until disabled.

The Luna Optics LN-QE-B50 has six different color modes that can be used at any time.  

• Daytime color mode shows images as they would appear in natural light.
• Night time color mode displays real-color images without a UV filter.  
• Black and white mode displays images in grayscale.
• NV Green Phosphor mode displays images in a traditional night vision green color spectrum.
• NV White Phosphor mode displays images in a white phosphor night vision color spectrum.

Depending on video quality, the stock 32GB MicroSD memory card incuded with the LN-QE-B50 can hold up to 1 hour of HD video.  If the maximum supported 512GB MicroSD memory card is used, up to 30 hours of video can be recorded.

Yes, the LN-QE-B50 binocular works in temperatures as low as -22F and as high as 122F, making it safe to use in most climates.
