The Burris FastFire Mount #410318 provides a secure mounting solution for adding a compatible Burris FastFire red dot sight to a Ruger American Pistol. Designed specifically for the Ruger American Pistol, this steel mount replaces the factory rear sight and provides a rigid platform for mounting a FastFire optic.

For shooters who want the speed and aiming advantages of a red dot on a Ruger American Pistol, the 410318 provides a purpose-built mounting solution without requiring a separate Picatinny or Weaver rail. Burris designed the mount around the pistol's existing rear-sight dovetail system.

Designed for the Ruger American Pistol

The 410318 FastFire Mount is specifically listed by Burris for the Ruger American Pistol. Installation begins by removing the factory rear sight from its dovetail slot and installing the supplied dovetail block. The mounting plate then attaches to the block to create the mounting surface for the FastFire sight.

Burris recommends keeping the mounting plate level during installation and tightening the mounting screws to the manufacturer's specified 12 in-lbs. Thread locker such as Loctite is also recommended on the appropriate mounting screws.

Steel FastFire Mount Construction

The #410318 is constructed from steel to provide a durable and rigid connection between the Ruger American Pistol and the mounted FastFire sight. A rigid mounting interface helps maintain the optic's position during repeated firing and normal field use.

The mount is finished in matte black to complement the appearance of the pistol and FastFire red dot.

Compatible Burris FastFire Sights

Important: Burris specifically states that its FastFire mounts are not compatible with the FastFire C. They are also intended for non-optics-cut firearms and are not designed for factory optics-cut/OSP configurations.

9mm Spacer Included

Burris's installation instructions specify a 9mm spacer for installation on applicable 9mm Ruger American Pistol models. The spacer keeps the mounting plate properly positioned and level during installation.

The installation instructions also identify an additional forward countersunk hole that can be drilled and tapped by a qualified gunsmith for additional support if desired.
