The Burris FastFire 4 is a versatile red dot reflex sight designed to provide fast, reliable aiming on handguns, rifles, shotguns, and other firearms. Building on the proven FastFire platform, the FastFire 4 adds a larger sight window, brighter aiming point, extended battery life, automatic brightness control, and four selectable reticle configurations. The result is a compact 1x red dot sight that can be configured for different shooting applications without changing optics.

The FastFire 4 uses a multi-reticle system that lets the shooter toggle between four aiming options: a 3 MOA dot, an 11 MOA dot, an 11 MOA dot with circle, and a 3 MOA dot with circle and wings. This flexibility allows the same optic to be configured for precise aiming or faster target acquisition depending on the firearm and shooting application.

Four Selectable Reticles

The FastFire 4's four reticle options are one of its biggest advantages over conventional single-reticle red dot sights. The 3 MOA dot provides a relatively fine aiming point for more precise shooting, while the larger 11 MOA dot is easier to acquire rapidly. The circle and circle-and-wings configurations add additional visual references that can help speed up target acquisition.

Reticle selection is controlled directly on the optic, allowing shooters to change configurations without replacing the sight. This makes the FastFire 4 particularly useful for shooters who use one optic across different firearms or applications.

Large Sight Window for Faster Target Acquisition

The FastFire 4 features a larger viewing window than previous FastFire models, providing a more generous sight picture for rapid target acquisition. Combined with 1x magnification and infinite eye relief, the optic is designed for shooting with both eyes open while maintaining peripheral vision and situational awareness.

The parallax-free optical system helps provide a consistent point of aim when the shooter's eye position changes relative to the sight. This makes the FastFire 4 particularly well suited to fast-moving shooting applications where precise head positioning is impractical.

Extended Battery Life

The FastFire 4 uses a CR1632 battery and provides up to 26,000 hours of battery life at medium brightness. The extended runtime reduces the need for frequent battery replacement and makes the optic well suited to firearms that may remain ready for extended periods.

An automatic brightness system adjusts the aiming point to the surrounding environment, while an automatic shutoff feature turns the optic off after eight hours. Three manual brightness levels are also available when the shooter wants direct control over dot intensity.

Compact and Lightweight Construction

Despite its expanded feature set, the FastFire 4 remains compact and lightweight. The optic measures only 1.9 inches long and weighs 1.6 ounces, minimizing its effect on firearm balance and handling.

The FastFire 4 is designed for demanding outdoor use and features Burris's rugged, waterproof, shockproof, and fogproof construction. The optic is also nitrogen filled to help prevent internal fogging during changes in temperature and weather conditions.

Picatinny Mount and Docter/Noblex Compatibility

The Burris FastFire 4 uses the Docter/Noblex mounting footprint and includes a detachable Picatinny mount. This provides mounting flexibility across compatible handguns, rifles, shotguns, and other firearm platforms. Burris also offers mounting solutions for specific firearm configurations.

Optional Weather Shield

For shooters who need additional protection from the elements, Burris offers an optional FastFire 4 weather shield. The screw-on shield helps protect the optic from dust and debris and effectively converts the FastFire 4 into a more enclosed red dot configuration.
