Four Brightness Levels

The E20 V2.0 provides four output levels controlled by the reverse tail switch. Fully press the switch to turn the flashlight on or off. With the light on, tap the switch to cycle through Eco, Low, Medium, and High. The flashlight starts in Eco mode when switched on, providing a consistent starting point for everyday use.

The digitally regulated circuit helps maintain stable output, while intelligent overheat protection reduces brightness when the flashlight becomes too hot during extended use on High. A low-voltage warning progressively steps down the output as battery voltage drops.

AA Battery Power for Everyday Carry

The Fenix E20 V2.0 runs on two standard AA batteries, making replacement batteries easy to source for travel, emergency kits, and outdoor gear. Fenix recommends AA nickel-metal hydride batteries for overall performance; alkaline AA batteries are also supported. Compatible 1.5V rechargeable AA-format batteries may be used where specified by Fenix, but 3.6–3.7V rechargeable 14500 lithium-ion batteries must not be used.
