Bresser Condor 1-4x24 Review

The Bresser Condor 1-4x24 is an updated version of the popular Konig 1-4x24, which was discontinued in late 2013.  It's been a long time coming, but it looks like the wait may have been worth the wait.  

The Condor 1-4x24 is a fully waterproof, fogproof, nitrogen purged rifle scope with a 30mm main tube. It's a solid built optic with a one piece aluminum body, and has some noticable improvements over its predecessor.

First of all, the price of the Bresser Condor 1-4x24 is only about half of the old model.  It seems that Bresser has managed to do this while not only maintaining quality, but improving it.  Glass quality seems like it's been massively improved, with a notable decrease in chromatic aberration, as well as a huge increase in clarity.  

The illumination is nice, if you're into that sort of thing.  The illuminated center dot is just bright enough to see in light conditions, and not so bright that it will blind you at night.  The biggest improvement here is that the Condor 1-4x24 has been upgraded to a digital illumination system, which is controlled by a pair of buttons instead of the commonly found analog knob.  

A common complaint about rifle scopes at this price is turrets that seem imprecise and lacking tactile feedback.  This is not the case.  The turrets on the Bresser Condor 1-4x24 are astonishingly precise, and exhibit some excellent audible and tactile feedback.
