Can you ship Tech Sights to Canada?
BJL Outdoors has been a dealer for Tech Sights for many years, and we have received many queries from customers in Canada asking if we can ship Tech Sights. There are a lot of restrictions on which firearms accessories can or cannot be sent across the USA/Canadian border. Those restrictions can be confusing for customers, and legally dangerous for retailers who don't understand them.
But there is good news! BJL Outdoors has streamlined the process and worked out a lot of the red tape that used to keep us from shipping Tech Sights to Canada, and we have received explicit permission from regulators in the USA to send Tech Sights directly to Canadian customers.
How much are shipping costs to send a Tech Sights order to Canada?
We only take payment in USD. Your card issuer may charge an additional fee to convert between CAD and USD, so you may see a different balance on your card statement. As of October 2025, we have a flat $25 USD shipping fee on all Canadian orders up to $400 USD in value or 1lb of shipping weight. Orders with more value or more weight will be charged additional fees. Shipping costs cover shipping, insurance, and replacement/reshipment in case of loss in transit. The shipping fee does not include any import duties, which may or may not be charged upon the shipment's arrival in Canada.
Since our shipping charge is a per-order charge, we recommend bundling your sights, tools, and other accessories all into one order. Too many customers come back at a later date to order tools and end up with another shipping charge.
When will I receive my Tech Sights order?
Most orders are delivered in 7-14 days. The most common delay is Canada Post holding a shipment until customs duties are paid, but that is easily solved by contacting them with the tracking number.
Can I order from a Canadian dealer?
There are no official Tech Sights dealers in Canada.
To the best of our knowledge, we are the only company in North America that has explicit permission from both regulators and the manufacturer to ship Tech Sights outside of the USA. We do not sell to Canadian dealers. Along with this, we are under agreement with Tech Sights to honor their factory warranty for our Canadian customers. We cannot honor any warranty or support claims for any Tech Sights customers in Canada that have purchased their sights from other dealers.
