When will this item ship?
Long range shooters, bowhunters, and golfers are three types of people you don't normally associate with one another. But the LR800WP is suitable for all three without sacrificing durability and quality.
These were shipped to us with a cleaning cloth, carrying case, wrist strap, and a CR2 battery. Setup is simple - insert the battery, click the unit on, select yards or meters, and start measuring by aiming and clicking the power button. After ten seconds of idle, the unit automatically powers off to save battery power. The only thing that could make rangefinding any simpler would be a sign on the target showing its distance.
The LR800WP is surprisingly lightweight, and the included carrying case is nice. The case has an included belt loop, making it a convenient piece of gear for bowhunters. Optical quality isn't necessarily on par with a pair of binoculars or a riflescope, but then again it really doesn't have to be. The eyepiece rotates to focus the picture in the viewfinder, and we were able to get the unit to focus and range down to five yards. The only concern we have is the audible "click" the power button makes when ranging, which may be less than desirable for bowhunters looking to get the drop on big game.
When you need to know just how far your reach needs to be, let the advanced Range Finder 800 do the heavy lifting. Compact and simple to use, the LR800 quickly and easily delivers the data you need to drive the shot home right the first time, everytime.
