Nikon Binocular Tripod Adapter Review

There's not much to it, really.  This adapter allows you to mount your binocular to a tripod for added stability and convenience.  This tripod adapter utilizes a 1/4" x 20 mounting screw, which is standard on most photographic tripods.  This adapter is designed for porro prism binoculars, and may or may not fit your roof prism binoculars, depending on the space available at the front of the body hinge.

Will this binocular adapter fit my binoculars?

Check your binoculars.  On the front of the body hinge, there should be a cap.  Unscrew this cap.  If the hinge is threaded on the inside, your binocular is equipped with a tripod thread.  This adapter is about one inch wide at its widest point, so make sure you have space at the front of your binocular for this adapter before buying.
